My name is Paul Gozar and like many artists, I too want to share my works of art with people.

But this was not the case in the very beginning.

Funny story is that I have not had any formal training in watercolors other than a 2 week crash course when I was studying architecture in France.

At that time, I was given an opportunity to go on a watercolor trip where we would paint onsite and get critiqued at the end of the day. I've never painted before so I signed up, and let me tell you, my first painting was horrible, and I do mean HORRIBLE!

But as time progressed, I got the hang of it and 10 years later, here I am and with stuff that hopefully you will like. Looking back on that day, that decision to go on that watercolor trip was one of the best decisions of my life.

By the way, I still have that first painting, and I always keep it close by and look back at it every once in awhile and smile because if one can go from "horrible" to "not so horrible" (just kidding) anything is possible.
