Biography

Paul Gozar is currently practicing architecture and construction management in the Chicagoland area.

He studied and received his masters degree in both architecture and civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

During his third year of architecture, he studied abroad in Versailles, France and discovered the art of watercoloring.

Since then, he has developed a sensuous and delicate style of his own that is very different from his earlier works of landscape and buildings.

"People and life are the basic ingredients to my paintings and if I could somehow bring the audience into the painting to share that piece of life rather than just viewing the painting, I have achieved my goal."
